Angela Babaya

Angela Babaya, is full-time professional artist, whose paintings adorn the walls of homes, hotels and guest houses both locally and internationally.  

Angela studied art at school and then later under three well- known artists.  Five years ago she opened the successful Studio Babaya in Hout Bay, where painters of all disciplines and styles gather together to paint under her watchful and experienced eye. 

Her paintings are decidedly realistic, with a touch of her own distinctive style. She gains her inspirations mainly from symphony of colours that she sees around her in her daily life.  

“Art is not just my job, it is my passion and my life” says Babaya,.  A sentiment that is reflected in her paintings.
