Description |
Unique Bronze Leopard, a royal icon, was often used as
royal water vessels. Water was poured from the mouth
over the Oba’s hands in cleansing rituals, and were kept
on royal alters to honour the Oba (king). The Obo often
had a live leopard at his side. Leopards alive or bronze
were his protection. |
