Keith Calder
PROFILE

Born 1959 in South Africa.
Keith completed schooling in Johannesburg and then studied a
diploma in Nature Conservation. He worked in that field until
1988.
He has been sculpting for the past 20 years.
He now lives in Cape Town with his wife and 3 children.
Calder
sculpts both realistic and stylized forms. The realistic,
figurative work is born out of his close association with nature.
The more recent stylized, almost futuristic, work stems from the
same source but explores new avenues of expression.
